Please take a moment to view some of Goldie and
the Gingerbread historic posters |
Unknown to me, the Rolling Stones
fixed a length of cord to my drum stool. In the middle
of a number they started to drag the stool away. My
drums kept getting further from my reach. By the time I
caught on to there trick I was playing standing up. On
that same nite the Hollies came on the stage and started
singing right in the middle of our last number.

The Beatles played here in the early
days. Spending so much time in Germany I even learned to
say in German "I'll bekommen ein Koks und ein bratwurst
, bitte" (I'll have a coke and a bratwurst) |

Chubby and I went out dancing to a
local bar in Berlin, where they were having a dance
contest, and we won! I won a pair of nylon stockings and
I still have them today... |
